Enthusiasts of the famous Grand Theft Auto game series can finally celebrate, as Rockstar Games has just confirmed that the trailer for GTA 6 will be released in early December.

On Twitter, in a message signed by Sam Houser, co-founder of the company, he thanks all the players, because without them, there wouldn’t be the opportunity to create the games they’ve already worked on. Check it out in full:

According to information from respected journalist Jason Schreier, Rockstar Games has confirmed that the trailer for GTA 6 will be released in December. The insider had previously stated that GTA 6 would be announced this week and that the trailer would be released in December.
According to Jason Schreier’s sources, Rockstar Games is ready to reveal the new chapter of the Grand Theft Auto franchise to the world, something it already did in a very superficial way in February 2022, when it commented that it was working on the successor to GTA 5.
In February 2022, Rockstar Games confirmed for the first time that it was working on the next Grand Theft Auto, and since then, development of the game has progressed well.
Intriguingly, this date coincides with the 2023 edition of The Game Awards, scheduled for December 7. While host and organizer Geoff Keighley has remained silent on whether GTA 6 will grace the ceremony, its appearance wouldn’t be surprising. The Game Awards has consistently unveiled trailers for highly anticipated titles and even served as the platform for the Xbox Series X console’s debut.
The most recent installment in the GTA franchise, Grand Theft Auto V, hit PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles back in 2013. The game has maintained a steady presence on the charts ever since, partly due to enhanced versions landing on new console generations and GTA Online’s immense success as the game’s live-service component. Over the past decade, Rockstar Games has also released Red Dead Redemption 2, a remaster of Red Dead Redemption, and Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.
