The development of GTA 6 has been confirmed by Rockstar Games in early 2022, however, fans are waiting for an announcement with images, trailers and more news about the untitled successor to Grand Theft Auto V.
With the release of the new GTA Online DLC, Rockstar Games seems to be releasing several short teasers to GTA 6, with many references to Vice City and Miami.
Now, almost a year since that confirmation, Rockstar Games may be about to make the official announcement of GTA VI very soon. Who makes this claim is journalist Tom Henderson, who assures that the game will be revealed in 2023.

Likewise, the journalist claims that it is probably the biggest announcement ever, and he strongly believes that in 2023, will be the year we will see the first official images of GTA 6.

According to him, Rockstar Games will make an official presentation of GTA 6 already this year and it will be one of the biggest highlights of 2023, this being “the biggest announcement of a game ever.”
“Despite being criticized by the GTA community in the summer of 2021 for my report, I have said that GTA 6 will be released in 2024 – 2025, which is a firm date that I still strongly believe is happening. A 2023 announcement would align perfectly with those years.”
The journalist gives as an example, GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 , which were announced two years before their official release. In short, if Tom Henderson is right, Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released in 2025.
