On the radar of fans of the Grand Theft Auto series, the franchise’s sixth numbered game may have “reduced” content when it finally hits shelves. At least that’s what a new rumor that’s been circulating the internet for the past few days claims.
According to insider, Tez2 – who has proven to be reliable and reputable on several occasions – the long-awaited next chapter in the GTA series will be unveiled later this year, probably during the vacation (US) window, and will be released sometime during holiday (US) 2024.
Also according to the leaker, Rockstar would be imposing an internal policy of returning to the offices, trying to end the home office regime started during the period of social isolation because of the pandemic. He says it is likely that a release date has not yet been confirmed for this very reason, as the company is afraid of not being able to deliver the game on the announced date.

Tez2 says GTA 6 should be announced in the coming months
Now, according to Tez2, a trusted Rockstar Games insider, GTA 6 should be officially revealed in the second half of this year.

“The deadline (for release) at that point in time hits with the 2024 festivities. Unfortunately, it could be pushed back to early 2025 as well. Personally, I see an announcement happening later this year.”
“I don’t think top management is in a position to delay it further (beyond early 2025). In any case, they can cut parts of the game and turn them into expansions. It’s something that might be sustainable for management.”
