Rockstar Games has released a new page stating that unofficial GTA RP servers are allowed, however, the owners of these servers must follow some rules.

After some controversy, Rockstar Games has decided to update their policies regarding unofficial GTA Roleplay servers that run via FiveM.

On the support page, the developer commented, “Rockstar Games has always believed in reasonable creativity from fans and wants developers to show their passion for our games.”

“Third-party “Roleplay” servers are an extension of the rich variety of community-created experiences in Grand Theft Auto, which we hope will continue to thrive in a safe and friendly manner for many years to come.”

However, despite all this, no misuse of Rockstar Games’ trademarks is allowed. The production company also reiterates that no real-world trademarks, characters, or music may be misused.

Similarly, another point that the producer cited was the creation of a system to generate revenue through corporate sponsorships, or the use of cryptocurrencies or NFTs.
