This is arguably the most popular server around. It’s one of the most hardcore ones too, but it only supports 32 players at any one time. That means that you’ll struggle to gain access at the best of times. Given that there’s a 4,000-people waiting list too, and that the server owner — Twitch streamer Koil has suspended applications for now — you’ll have to look elsewhere for your fix. That is, unless you donate to keep the server running. Do that and you could get in within a two to four week period.

NoPixel is an exclusive Grand Theft Auto 5 RP server that characters such as Mr. Chang, Kiki Chanel, and Yung Dab call home. Currently, only 32 players can be logged into the NoPixel server at a time, and anyone that attempts to join after capacity has been reached must wait until a slot has opened.

Unfortunately, the main whitelisted server is unable to join (unless you’re big on Twitch or are willing to make a donation and wait). Thankfully, though, NoPixel has created a secondary public server for others to join. Most notably, XQC has joined the public server after his perma ban on the whitelisted server.

How to join NoPixel

Gaining access to the server requires interested players to go through an application process on the NoPixel website. Successful applicants have their credentials white-listed and are able to play on the server thereafter.

How to join NoPixel’s public GTA RP server

  1. Download GTA 5 for desktop
  2. Download the FiveM mod
  3. Create an account for NoPixel
  4. Connect to the public server
  5. Wait in the long queue
  6. Play in the server

The process to join NoPixel’s public server for GTA RP is simple, especially if you already own the game for desktop. This server is not available to play on console since you need to add the FiveM mod in order to play.

The downside to attempting to play on the server is having to wait in long queue times. As Reddit user R4nd0mnumbrz pointed out, there are a lot of people attempting to join at once. And others have pointed out that the number has even topped 2000 at times.

Although these numbers were around the launch of the public server, and the wait times have settled down since then. But it’s still a long wait for those without priority.
