It seems the wait is about to end for video game enthusiasts! The highly anticipated debut trailer for GTA 6 now has a scheduled date: Tuesday, December 5th, at 9h am ET.
Confirmation came through a tweet from the developer Rockstar Games, leaving game fans eager for what could become one of the biggest game launches in history.

Back in November, when they announced the trailer release window for GTA 6 in December, Rockstar stated:
“We’re incredibly excited to announce that in early December, we’ll be releasing the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto. We hope to share many more years of experiences with all of you.
“Thanks to the incredible support from our players around the world, we’ve had the opportunity to create games that we truly pour ourselves into. Without you, none of this would be possible, and we’re extremely grateful to everyone for sharing this journey with us.
“In 1998, Rockstar Games was founded with the idea that video games could become as essential to culture as any other form of entertainment, and we hope to have created games that you love in our efforts to be a part of this evolution.
What is the release date for GTA 6?
Rockstar Games has yet to confirm the game’s release. Last year, in July, the studio hinted at a potential release window in March 2024.
