GTA 5 RP: How to Download and Play on PC
Launched just over eight years ago, Grand Theft Auto V has transcended generations and remains one of the most successful games in history. More recently, GTA 5 RP, an unofficial mode of Rockstar’s game was created by the community and has become a fever among influencers and on stream platforms. To become part of this community, you need to follow a step by step process to download it on your computer.
The big difference is in the dynamics: everything runs like in real life, with the player having to deal with issues of work, family, friendships, and romantic relationships; it is not like in GTA’s story mode where you have to commit crimes, among other offenses, to succeed.
Step 1: First of all, you need to download FiveM via this link. It is a modifier for GTA V that allows you to play on custom servers, as is the case with GTA 5 RP. Download the file and click to accept the terms of use to start the download.
Step 2: Install the program once the download has finished. It is important to note that FiveM needs to be installed in the same folder where the game is. Usually, it is located in: Local Disk (C:) > Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > Grand Theft Auto V.
Step 3: With the program installed, click “Play” and choose the servers.
Due to the popularity of GTA 5 RP, it is common that some servers do not appear in the list of available servers. This is due to the high rate of players online on them. For this reason, they only open interviews and tests (made to test the player’s knowledge to be accepted) from time to time. Thus, it is necessary to stay tuned to the official channels to learn more about how the selection process works.
In GTA Roleplay you have to be true to your character: If you are a taxi driver, for example, you must act like one – not running a red light when it suits you, for example. In other situations, as a salesman in a clothing store, you must stick to your work hours – just as in real life.
Here are some of the most popular servers:
