Insider Tom Henderson comments on the trailer for GTA 6
The insider speculated that the first trailer for GTA 6 (Grand Theft Auto VI) should be released between the last week of October 2023 and the first week of November 2023 before Take-Two’s second quarter 2024 earnings call.
The wait for GTA 6 is being long, and despite this, Rockstar Games has not yet revealed a single official image or title reveal trailer, leaving fans impatient for the sequel to GTA 5, which is due to be announced.
Insider Tom Henderson took to Twitter and speculated about the release date of the first GTA VI trailer. Insider comments on the release date of gta 6 trailer (Grand Theft Auto VI)
“Everyone keeps asking me when GTA 6 will be revealed and I don’t know. I’ll assume, based on previous revelations, a reveal trailer would be in the last week of October 2023 or the first week of November 2023 before take-two’s second quarter 2024 earnings call.”
This finding is true, after all, many fans were awaiting an announcement in October last year, however, the leaks that occurred the previous month may have delayed the original plans of Rockstar Games.
A launch in 2024 will likely happen and inevitably postponed until 2025. The current generation console market in 2024 will be enough to make GTA 6 the success it needs to be, but I don’t think they’ll mind giving the market another year and ensuring the same is the best it can be.”
Tom Henderson emphasizes in the statement above that Rockstar Games requires players to have migrated to the new generation, so that the title sells a lot and ensure the desired success.
Postponing GTA 6 to 2025 may not mean that Rockstar Games is lagging behind in game development, but may ensure that a large player base is in the next generation.
