GTA 6 released on PlayStation 4?
GTA 6 is being eagerly awaited by fans, however, not all gamers who have consoles are really prepared, famed insider Tom Henderson, recently commented that the game will not be coming to all current platforms.
While it may not seem like it, there are major implications of GTA 6 being on PS4. This is particularly relevant in light of a YouTube video from Macho Nacho Productions. Some leaks of GTA 6 have suggested that it was tested on a PS4 development kit.
But… If you have a PlayStation 4 or an Xbox One and want to play GTA 6, we have some bad news for you!
Tez2 has stated that Rockstar Games is preparing to announce GTA 6 this year with a release date of late 2024. Tom Henderson also seems to agree with this statement.
Similarly, Tom Henderson further adds that GTA 6 will not arrive until late 2024, with chances of it being delayed to 2025 to prepare players to be on the new generation.
On the other hand, if you have a PlayStation 4 or an Xbox One and are waiting for Grand Theft Auto VI, it is best to start thinking about buying a PlayStation 5 or an Xbox Series S/X.
In the leaks that occurred in September last year, GTA 6 was running on the DX12 graphics API, which indicates that the main version of the game will be on Xbox and Windows PC. Thus, the PS5 (PlayStation 5) version will be a port, where the game code will be adapted for Sony’s console.
If you are thinking about getting a console to play GTA 6 and want the best experience in performance/graphics, you should bet on an Xbox Series X or a Windows Gamer PC.
