The gaming world went into a tizzy after a hacker broke into Rockstar Games systems’ and leaked 90 gameplay videos on Reddit. Rockstar Games confirmed they were hacked and tweeted they are in touch with the authorities to nab the bad actor.

Despite recent leaks regarding the source code, GTA 6 may not have to delay its development process. For context, a hacker recently downloaded the files directly from messaging groups related to Rockstar employees.
They subsequently released more than 90 videos to GTAForums on September 17. These videos showcased unfinished gameplay, presumably from the earlier development stages of GTA 6.

It is the second day of GTA 6 leaks and it looks like the hacker might have been identified as per a new report.
According to a tweet by video game enthusiast, Michael, the hacker behind the GTA 6 leaks is none other than the leader of the Lapsus$ ransomware gang as per Breach, an online hacker forum. The leader has reportedly been identified as a 16-year-old boy from the United Kingdom.
