OFFSET RP is one of the biggest Portuguese-language roleplay servers on FiveM, and one of the easiest to actually get into. There is no application, no interview, no waiting on a verdict. The server's own five-step guide runs from installing FiveM to typing `connect play.offset.gg` in the F8 console, and that is the entire route. The Portuguese directory Roleplay.pt independently classifies it as "Público" and lists it on its no-whitelist page, whose own text promises entry without whitelist or candidatura. What waits on the other side is a QBCore city with a 1,200-slot cap, 183 live resources, and roughly 120 of those carrying the server's own `offs-` and `offset_` prefixes. That ratio is the most interesting thing here. Most public servers this size are assembled from shop-bought scripts. This one has largely been built.
/ Getting in
Open, in the plain sense of the word. Install FiveM, join the Discord at discord.offset.gg, then `connect play.offset.gg`. No candidatura, no character backstory to submit, no queue for approval. Roleplay.pt's structured metadata for the server reads `server:type = "Público"`, and its page carries no mention of whitelist or candidatura anywhere. One thing to know before you click: the Discord runs at Discord's highest verification level, meaning a verified phone number on your account, plus a rules-screening gate. That is a gate on the community, not on the city. If you refuse to attach a phone to Discord, you stall there rather than at the door.
/ What is actually running
The live resource list is public and tells an honest story. `qb-core` is present, so QBCore is confirmed rather than claimed. Beside it sit in-house builds of the parts most servers rent: inventory, garage, police job, doorlock, vehicle customs, and organisation housing and garages. The mapping spend is visible too. The Gabz MLO pack is in (PDM, Benny's, the prison, Town Hall, the arcade, Ammunation, 24/7), plus GN and Jakers asset packs. Past Los Santos there is `offset_island`, `offset_trevorvillage`, `offset_cargoship` and a two-island Cayo build. Underneath: pma-voice proximity chat, a ps-mdt police MDT, and a connect queue.

Both sides of the law are built out. Crime runs through a Fleeca heist, a jewellery store, store robberies, a safecracker, lockpicking and a memory minigame. The legal track is further developed than most open servers bother with: a driving school with a real licence system (`offs_escolaconducao`, `offs_cc-carta`), fishing, garbage collection and Burger Shot. Organisations get dedicated housing and garage resources, which suggests group play is the intended shape rather than an afterthought. There is also an in-house media host serving images, video and audio uploaded in-game. The server's talk of a "balanced economy" and "immersive roleplay" is its own marketing, not independently verified.
/ How busy it gets
Busy enough that you will not be roleplaying alone. Reading the live Cfx payload through Roleplay.pt, the server showed 235 players against its 1,200 slots at the time of writing, with earlier passes in the same period reading 281 and 288. The tracker gtaboom reported a same-day peak of 314 and a daily average of 165, but its own live figure was badly stale against two concurrent readings, so treat those as tracker-reported and approximate. The 1,200 cap is among the largest advertised by any Portuguese server. Nobody is filling it. A few hundred concurrent in a QBCore city is still a working city.
/ One honest caveat
In July 2025, Roleplay.pt reported that Cfx.re banned several large Portuguese servers, OFFSET among them, alongside Portugália and Atlantic. The specific reason for OFFSET's ban was not made public. The server came back online after what the article calls a forced pause, and without rebranding. Worth knowing, not disqualifying. Beyond that, the gaps are real: there is no public rules page (offset.gg/regras, /rules and /whitelist all return 404), so no written rules or age requirement could be verified, and no notable streamer could be tied to the server from any source. The Discord brands itself "Season 2", but nothing dates or explains it, and the server's founding date could not be established. Read the rules inside the Discord before you commit an evening.

The verdict
Come here if you want a large Portuguese city you can be standing in ten minutes from now, and if a deeply custom QBCore build appeals more than a polished application funnel. Skip it if you do not read Portuguese, if you want published rules before you commit, or if you need a documented community with a visible paper trail.
