Streets Of Atlanta is one of the biggest English-language FiveM servers running right now, and it is not subtle about it. The live server reports 650 slots and sat between 574 and 588 players across checks on 14 July 2026, with a Discord of roughly 139,700 members and about 29,500 online. It calls itself the "#1 Semi-Serious ATL Roleplay Server", which is its own claim, not a measured ranking. Under the hood it is ESX, and that part is not guesswork: a direct query of the server returns es_extended alongside ox_inventory, ox_lib and ox_target across 439 resources. The pitch is hood and gang roleplay in an Atlanta-themed city, with factions, custom drugs, housing and a player economy. The doors are open, with no whitelist and no application. What follows is what that actually means in practice, including the parts the server's own marketing does not lead with.
/ Getting in
There is no whitelist and no out-of-character application to enter the city. The server's own getting-started guide is four lines: join the Discord, read the rules, connect via cfx.re/join/zr7dap, create a character. That is the entire gate. Two conditions bite once you are through. The server is strictly 18+, enforced by moderation rather than any check at the door, and you must be recording at all times with both game audio and voice audio. Departments are a different story. Police, EMS, the Department of Justice and business ownership each require a separate application in their own Discord.
/ What you will actually do
The core loop is street-level. Get a job, make money or start trapping, then join a faction and build a reputation. Those are the server's own words for steps four and five. Gang conflict is structured rather than freeform: the site describes staff-triggered "plug wars", faction tiers and a character-kill system, so losing badly can mean losing the character. It advertises 60+ drugs to sell, a real estate system where apartments, houses and mansions can be bought, furnished and used as stashes, and a business district currently showing 46 businesses sold or active out of 56. Civilian work exists too (taxi, trucking, garbage, mining). All of this is self-reported.
/ Semi-serious does not mean relaxed
The rules are the product here, and they are blunt. Reckless driving is a permanent ban. Unrealistic outfits are a permanent ban. Pop-out RP, meaning stepping outside a green zone to shoot, is a permanent ban, and roleplay initiated inside a green zone does not count as initiation. Push-to-talk is required at all times. Peds must match your gender, and using a female ped requires female verification. The clipping rule has real teeth: no clip means automatic denial of every reimbursement and report you file, and if the clip shows you breaking a rule, you are banned instead.
/ The LA fingerprints
The same Cfx registration ran as "The Hills LA | #1 LA Based Server | 18+ | Semi Serious Community" as recently as April 2026, on the identical naming template it uses today. The rebrand was never fully cleaned up. The live server's tag list still carries thehills, THEHILLS and Hills. The official site, under Atlanta branding, still advertises "LA Vibes" and still calls its police force LAPD, spelled out as Los Angeles Police Department on its city links page. No official rebrand announcement turned up, so read this as a renamed city rather than a brand-new one, and draw no conclusions about staff or ownership continuity in either direction.
/ What could not be verified
There is no founding date. The Discord guild dates to May 2022 by its snowflake ID, but that dates a Discord, not a server, and we will not pretend otherwise. There is no confirmed daily peak: GTA BOOM's page for this Cfx ID is frozen at April 2026 and still shows The Hills LA at 321/500, so disregard its numbers. No notable streamer could be tied to the server, and searches routinely conflate it with a separate server called Atlanta Streets RP. Note also that the official Tebex store sells queue priority, gang tiers and unbans.

Go here if you want busy, densely populated hood and gang roleplay tonight, with no application between you and a character, and you are comfortable recording every session. Skip it if you want lore-heavy slow-burn RP, a documented history, or a city where progress and second chances cannot be bought. The rules are heavy, enforcement is blunt, entry costs nothing.
